A hard weekend's work

The cast, instrumentalists and dancers all met together last weekend to work on Rock. We rehearsed all Saturday, and then all Sunday afternoon. Then on Sunday evening we performed with a small select choir at Christ Church, Burney Lane in front of the evening congregation. This was the first performance with costumes and lights. We're thrilled with how it went, and are looking forward to the premiere...

Here's a couple of photos:

Looking forward to Sunday in Wigan? We are here in Wigan, the good news is that between us the tenors no all the word, lets hope in the next few days we learn all the words individually.

Doesn't Bill look smart in his Cornelius costume, should those knees really be in public? I wonder how much it smarts when the gaffer tape comes off.

Well - ROCK - Story of Simon Peter visited Penrith and watched the 4pm show with my mum as she was desperate to watch the last show tour for Penrith - she's keen on Roger Jones production.

Was my first time tonight I've heard the concert of Roger Jones apart from one about 10 years - I think it was called While Shepherds watched- all i remember was the words...Sheep-is there anymore than sheep!

However the show I saw was absolutely fantastic-better than I thought it would - how so? It had brilliant singers and everyone played really well. Dancers have some pretty catch moves too! I want to keep copying them!

If you are thinking about going-don't think- just get a ticket-get there in good time because you will enjoy the performance!

Keep an eye out for Roger Jones dancing to the music too!!

Well done all of you-wished I saw more of Roger Jones work earlier in my life now.
